Wireless Bridge: Maldives Customs Service

Viuga with its team of wireless experts including the first coveted CWNA in the Maldives designed the wireless bridge for the Maldives Customs Service.

The AI108-4958-OSU outdoor subscriber unit (client) is designed for worldwide use where wireless multipoint communication is needed. Utilizing 802.11a hardware technology and proprietary multipoint bridging software, the AI108-4958-OSU provides up to 35 Mbps of effective throughput for multipoint communication utilizing the 5.25-5.35, 5.47-5.72, or 5.725-5.85 GHz frequency bands. Includes an indoor signal/power injector, 150 foot indoor-to-outdoor cable and integrated outdoor radio/23 dBi antenna for multipoint communication up to 2.5 miles (4km).

IPTV, VoD, Data & Wireless: Zitahli Kudafunafaru Resort & Spa

Viuga Solutions designed and deployed the first Fiber to the Home (FTTH), first Passive Optical Network (PON), first blowing fiber (Fibreflow) for the Maldives at Zitahli Resort & Spa Kudafunafaru.

This network is also the first Wireless Network capable of providing IPTV over Wireless in the Maldives.

Zitahli Resorts and Spa Kuda-Funafaru is a 5 star deluxe property located on the idyllic Noonu Atoll.

Zitahli Resorts and Spa Kuda-Funafaru is comprised of 50 exclusive villas.


Wireless Network: Maldives Customs Service

Viuga Solutions has designed and deployed the wireless network for the entire 8 floors of the Maldives Customs Service Building in Male’ the capital City

This is the first centrally managed Wi-Fi with the robust security using Dynamic Preshared Keys

The equipment used for this installation was Ruckus Wireless


Wireless Network: Filitheyo Island Resort

The Wi-Fi Installation at Filitheyo Island was a major success. Viuga has covered areas beyond the requirements that was given. The signal range, signal quality and the throughput has been tested at every location.
